Thank you, Gerry. Art of any type is transformative, I believe. Yes, that was such a dark time in my life, and I'm lucky that art gave me some light.

Your first oil painting sure turned out beautifully! What a stroke of good fortune that you ventured into that Hobby Lobby store and decided to take the classes. Amazing what sometimes can transpire. I'm so glad art helped pull you out of that dark time. I enjoyed reading your story about how you started painting.

Thank you, Nancy! I appreciate your comment. Yes I was very lucky to luck into art. Nothing calms me as much as creating art. As you unfortunately know a cancer diagnosis is enough to shatter anyone. Art can be so therapeutic.
