But better late than never.
The premise of inktober is for people to create one piece of ink art per day for the entire month of October. One can use any type of ink and any kind of artwork. Apparently, it’s a real movement, and I love the concept.
Each day of October has a specific prompt, and one can be as creative as possible to convey that prompt. The prompts for the month are listed below. I fell behind, so I caught up today by sometimes combining two or three prompts into one ink drawing. While the rules of inktober allow for pencil sketches gone over with ink, I decided to take out my trusty G2 07 pen and do the first eight drawings using only ink.
It’s a humbling experience but fun. Now that I have caught up, I won’t be remiss for the rest of October. I will share my ink drawings, along with my oil paintings throughout this month on the days I post, Wednesdays and Sundays.
You might see previous drawings through the paper. I am using a special sketchbook: a miniature one that my daughter gifted me on my birthday.
The ghost and the spider are my favorite!
This is great, Beth! Definitely made me smile and laugh. I love how you combined the prompts. How fun!
