I'm so glad you're back is feeling better. The exercises are working. Yay! It's fun to keep learning about your painting process, and it's nice you and your daughter have this common interest in art. Had no idea so much drying time was required for oils. The painting turned out great, and the title fits. Also, the inktober drawings are so uniquely suited to the word of the day. Amazing. And yes, enough with thoughts and prayers whenever tragedy strikes. Lip service. Nothing more.
Hi Nancy, thank you for your comment and well wishes. I'm thrilled about the exercises working. My PT sessions are a real workout, but it's all beneficial, so I'm continuing to work hard. Sharing the painting process actually helps me think more about the process as I'm working on each draft. To work with oils one must be patient, because each layer of paint does take awhile to dry. Then one does another layer and waits and so on. That's why I have multiple paintings going at the same time, so I always have something to paint while something else is drying.
And I agree with you that thought and prayers are just lip service. So disgusting that such violence is tolerated.

By the way, glad you are enjoying the inktober drawings. This is the first time I've participated in it, and I've had a blast.
